ONLINE Auction is
Here!
The
FAME Foundation held it's main event a few weeks ago, and saved some items
for everyone to have a chance to bid on. Every dollar you spend on
this auction will result in that dollar being spent on the kids at our
schools in the form of technology, science and other educational needs.
We will also provide you with a letter from FAME, a 501 (c) (3) charitable
organization, to use as a direct deduction for your 2008 tax return!
Money for your child's education and money in your pocket at the end of the
year! Please visit the foundation website at www.FriendsofAviara.com and click on the "Auction" page for more information, and to start
bidding! You'll find items like parking spaces, front row seats at the
end of the year promotion ceremony, sporting event tickets, Disney Club 33
tickets and more!
Textbook Return Schedule
Students will be returning ALL of their textbooks with their English
class. This is a good day to bring in textbooks in a carrier with
wheels. Please have students remove all papers, erase any pencil
marks and tape any gently torn pages at home. Students need to clear
their library and textbook records in order to have a smooth
registration and textbook distribution experience in the Fall.
Parents,
if you wish to volunteer to assist with textbook return, please call Suzi
Koepping at 760-331-6189.
Textbooks
Return Schedule is as follows
All

6th grade English students of Frazee, Rodak, Kohn and Bray:

Dress Code for 8th
Grade Promotion Dance
All
8th graders attending the dance at the Crossings on June 6th will be expected
to adhere to the current school dress code with the following exceptions:
Spaghetti straps and straps less than 2" in width will be allowed
provided a sweater or shrug is worn. No strapless dresses will be allowed.
Dresses and skirts must meet the existing code of 1" beyond finger
length. High heeled shoes will be allowed provided they are 2" or
less in height.
As this is a school sponsored event at an off-campus site, appropriate
behavior is extremely important. Student behavior will be a direct reflection
of our school and district. Consequences for making poor choices will be the
same as those at the school site. We look forward to fun filled evening
that marks the end (almost) of middle school for this terrific group of
students.
