Welcome Ms. Marg Watson as AviaraOaksMiddle School's new principal !

Ms. Watson has taught math at Aviara Oaks, served as assistant principal for three years there and is returning as principal after serving in the same role at MagnoliaElementary School for three years. Please take the time to welcome her on campus at the start of the school year! Save a copy of your Entire July or August SDG&E Bill before it is paid for registration.   Students must have this bill for Registration - no exceptions.  Attach the bill to the "Residency Verification Checklist" which is to be submitted on the day of Registration listed below.  If you pay your bill online, you can get a copy of your bill by going to www.sdge.com. 

If you no longer have your bill or the payment portion of the bill showing the service address, you may obtain a letter of residency by going to https://paladin.sdge.com/letters/login/login.cfm?req=service . You will need to know your SDG&E account number, electric meter number and Zip code to complete the process and print the letter online. If you do not have that information, please call SDG&E at 1.800.411.7343 first to obtain that information.

Volunteers Needed for Several Upcoming Events!

Parent volunteers are needed for School Registration on Wednesday, August 23^rd and Thursday, August 24^th. If you can help on one or more of these days during these hours, please contact Eileen Crowder at eileen@crowder.net or call 760.804.7303.

Kathy Tom, our new Library Media Technician at AviaraOaksMiddle School needs your help at the library before school starts. AOMS has adopted new social studies books and there are over a thousand books to process before school starts. Please contact Kathy at kathywtom@yahoo.com if you can lend a hand.

Reminder - the following dates and times have been set aside for school registration at AOMS next year.

Everyone should have received a Registration packet at each student's residence by now. Please plan on having your student available during their allotted time and date and completing the registration packet in advance to expedite the registration process. In addition to turning in Residency Verification, Emergency Card Information, ASB membership, and PTSA membership information, students will have a school picture taken, a student ID card issued, and will pick up their class schedules during this time.

If your student is not here to register on his/her day, they must register the first day of school in front of the AOMS office.
