6th Grade Camp
AOMS 6th graders will be attending CampCuyamaca in Descanso the week of 9/11-9/15. CampTuition is $300 per student and is due NOW. If you are in need of financial assistance, please contact our camp coordinator, Vicki Ruby immediately at 331.6100. A representative from Camp Cuyamaca will be hosting an informational meeting for parents and students on Tuesday, 9/5th at 6PM in the AOMS MP room. For those students who will not be attending camp, our 6th grade curriculum will continue as usual. Sign Up or Renew with Our Corporate Community Partner Programs Now!
Aviara Oaks Middle School has registered with several Corporate Community Partner programs to help provide the much needed funding for the various school programs offered. You can help by registering your grocery cards or donating box tops and printer cartridges. Last year, our school received over $6,000 from the grocery benefit programs so join or renew today!

To register or renew your Vons eScrip commitment, log onto www.escrip.comand click on "Yes! Renew". If you are not registered, it only takes a moment. Go to www.escrip.comand click on "Sign up". You must renew your Escrip account before November 1st 2006 for uninterrupted contributions. Remember to designate Aviara Oaks Middle School ID #9351448 as your school of choice. Ralph's Community Program
Ralph's will give AOMS a 4% rebate on all monthly purchases, per enrolled card, up to $500, and 5% over $500. To register or renew your Ralph's card, click here and submit the form. AviaraOaksMiddle School designation is 82109. You must renew your Ralph's account as soon as possible for uninterrupted contributions. Girls Volleyball Try outs
The girls competitive volleyball program will be run through the Boys & Girls Club. The fee is $175 for the season which starts next week with try outs and continues until the 1st weekend in November with a tournament. Practice is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after School until 4PM. Games will be on Tuesday and Thursdays only, either Home or Away.
Try outs are 9/5-9/7th after school. Try outs on the 5th and 6th will be until 4:00PM and until 3:00PM on the 7th due to a minimum day schedule. Participant Forms along with a check to the Boys and Girls Club need to be filled out prior to try outs. Interested girls need to attend all 3 days of try outs.
