Yearbooks 6/12-6/13 Forgot to
purchase your 2006-2007 yearbook? There is a limited number of
2006-2007 AOMS Yearbooks still available. Extra yearbooks will
be sold for $40 CASH ONLY ON A FIRST COME BASIS during each grade
level yearbook distribution date until sold out. Yearbook
distribution dates are Tuesday June 12th for Grade 8 during yearbook
signing party and Wednesday June 13 for Grade 6 & 7 during
lunch.
AOMS 3rd Annual Dance Concert 6/7 The
AOMS Dance Program is proud to invite you to their 3rd Annual Dance
Concert Thursday June 7th at 7:00 pm. The show will feature
Dance 1 and Dance 2 dancers performing works from throughout the
school year. There will be a $2 donation at the door.
Please feel free to bring family, friends, neighbors etc. All
are welcome! We hope you enjoy the show! Any questions or

Playground Partners Thanks
You! AOMS students have been fortunate to have
Playground Partners this year due to the generosity and commitment of our
PTSA and parents. We are particularly grateful for the help of three
parent volunteers who joined Playground Partners for several days this
year: Peggy Scholz, Brian Grebbien, and Melanie Kabo. Thank
you to these parents for donating their time and energy to ensure a fun
and safe recess experience for all our students who participated
in Playground Partners activities!

Registration packets will be sent in advance to each
student's residence during the summer. Please plan on having your
student available during their allotted time and date and complete
the registration packet in advance to expedite the registration
process. In addition to turning in Residency Verification, Emergency
Card Information, ASB membership, and PTSA membership information,
students will have a school picture taken, a student ID card issued,
PE clothes available for purchase and will pick up their class
schedules during this time.
Help is Needed for CHS
Grad Night 6/14-6/15 Parent help is needed
with Grad Knight for Carlsbad High School, an all night graduation
party on Thursday, June 14th. Volunteers are needed
8:30pm-10:30pm as parking lot attendants at the Legoland
Employee Parking Lot (Hidden Valley Rd. north of Palomar Airport
Rd.); 9:30pm-midnight, 11:30pm-1:30am, 1am-3:30am, and
3:30am-5am to run a carnival booth, staff the food or
prize tables, make popcorn/cotton candy, grill hotdogs, and help
graduates on bus to return in the morning at Sorrento Valley; and
from 4:30am-5:30am on June 15th in the LegoLand Parking

Relay For Life, American Cancer Society
7/14-7/15 Relay For Life is a community event where
everyone can participate and join the fight against cancer. Teams of
people camp out at Carlsbad High School for 24 hours and take turns
walking around the track to raise funds for the American Cancer
Society. Please call 1-800-ACS-2345 or view our website for
registration information or to make a doantion at http://www.acsevents.org/relay/ca/carlsbad The event takes place July 14-15, 2007, from 9
AM - 9 AM, at Carlsbad High School.

CHS Girls Volleyball
Tryouts Girls volleyball tryouts are Monday,
August 13th at CHS from 3-5pm. Physicals must be turned in

Boys' Water Polo Event The Boy's water polo team
is having an informational pizza party for student/parents at
the CHS pool on Friday, June 8th from 4-5:30pm. Come
meet players, coaches and get information regarding the 2007
fall season.
CHS Boys Water Polo Fundraiser The
Boy's water polo team is having a carwash fundraiser on
Saturday, June 9th at the Saturn Dealership, 2205 Vista Way
(off the 78 Freeway and Jefferson) from
9am-2pm.
